Lovely short poems of the animals and sights and sounds at an animal carnival Delightful illustrations.
This is a lovely version of The Carnival of the Animals as illustrated brilliantly by Mary GrandPr Its arrangement is well chosen Jack Prelutsky s poems can be read with the illustrations, without the musical accompaniment or the CD included walks the reader listener FIRST through each of Prelutsky s poems, narrated by the author and immediately followed by the orchestration of that section of Charles Camille Saint Sa ns s composition and THEN plays Saint Sa ns s composition in full from start to finish I had only ever heard Saint Sa ns s score and never a breakdown of it as such Prelutsky s poetry I found interesting, but his narration I found terribly lackluster Still it is the multi faceted arrangement of the parts that makes this book work as a whole and it will most certainly engage young readers listeners musicians as intended A great tool books, The Carnival of the Animals By Jack Prelutsky This Is Very Good And Becomes The Main Topic To Read, The Readers Are Very Takjup And Always Take Inspiration From The Contents Of The Book The Carnival of the Animals , Essay By Jack Prelutsky Is Now On Our Website And You Can Download It By Register What Are You Waiting For Please read And Make A Refission For Trailer ñ The Carnival of the Animals PDF by ☆ Jack Prelutsky You We checked this out from the library for the second time, and my kids, 4 and 6, liked it even As a musician, I love that we could talk about each section of music and how it matches the animal We enjoyed discussing loud and quiet, slow and fast, low and high, and so on A great intro to listening to classical music Our family loves this book My 4 year old loves the illustrations and the music played on the CD I love the language used and the music is beautiful I definitely recommend it This will be a great learning tool for when we study orchestra as well.
I thoroughly enjoyed the CD and to hear the symphony from my hometown play was exceptionally delightful I wasn t that thrilled about the narrator though He had a continuously bored sound The illustrations were okay I think I ll try a few other books for The Carnival of the Animals and see if I find a better one.

↠´ The Carnival of the Animals ↠´ Genre poetryGrade 3rd 5thCarnivals are always a fun time Getting to read about the fun and exciting animals that are in a carnival through a creatively poetic book, is almost just as good This is a fun book and really entertaining.
Prelutsky s 2010 prose goes quite nicely with Saint Saens 1886 composition My students enjoy the words and the illustrations both as we listen to the CD read by the author.
Again, wonderful illustrations poems that kids will love.
